Bio
Don has resided in Scottsdale since 1958, attending Coronado High School and graduating from ASU. Don worked as a city planner for the City of Scottsdale for 38 years and was involved in many aspects of the growth and development of the city before retiring in 2014. Don is married to Vivian, have a son and three grandchildren.
Don joined the Scottsdale Historical Society board in 1999, serving as Corresponding Secretary and past President on two separate occasions.
Other interests and service to Scottsdale: American Planning Association, Urban Land Institute, Scottsdale Church of the Nazarene, Friends of Geography, East Valley Chorale, AZ Forward and South Scottsdale Community Garden.
